There is little or no information on this subject in veterinary medicine. The most important thing is to first determine whether it is really a food allergy and what it is due to (the source of protein, cereals, other?). In fact, many animals wrongly follow a hypoallergenic diet. However, we know that, in humans, allergy to cow's milk very often disappears in babies; other allergies, such as to nuts, on the other hand, are lifelong.
